Ophthalmic Surgery Services
Cataract surgery involves removal of the lens of the eye (also called "crystalline") that has developed an opacification, which is referred to as a cataract. It is a major sight giving operation performed by an expert surgeon.
Phacoemulsification
It is a type of modern cataract surgery in which the eye's internal lens is emulsified with an ultrasonic hand piece, and aspirated from the eye. This gives faster rehabilitation and excellent results in trained hands.
